5 year olds are so darn cute

Linneah (in senior kindergarten) drew me this picture. She’s so cute. There I am with the COOLEST orange shoes and my glasses. heh. She also drew every kid in her class (and she told me who each one of them was!)- She’s the one sitting in front of the “TV”. She’s the best.

my materials are all ready and lined up in my classroom, but my mind hasn’t caught up yet. I have butterflies in my stomach. It’s mostly those little primary kids. I’m not at all worried about grades 3-8, but those jk-2s??? scary!!

sigh.

good luck to all my althousers who are starting their first teaching job ever tomorrow!

ps. rob’s schedule was rearranged because they couldn’t find that replacement teacher- so he gets the grade 4 english class now that i would have had. So jealous- i want to teach language arts sooo much because I was so inspired by Wayne, my last practicum associate… so I’ll live vicariously through him.
