Last Day of School

ah. I think I’m going to cry. No wait, I already have a couple of times today. sob.

i was actually fine all day, until people started running up to me at the last recess and crying themselves and begging me not to go. it’s a really great feeling to know that you are loved.
here is some evidence:
- the staff got me acrylic paints and watercolour paper
- maddie wrote me a very heart-felt letter (and a cool bracelet in a retro box). it’s cool to make differences in peoples lives.
- a group of boys put together a package for me with little gifts and cards. yes a group of BOYS (that doesn't happen very often) in grade 6/7!
- kathleen got some cool bracelet set and other goodies
- rebecca painted me a little pot
- justine got me a yummy smelling candle

I also got 2 really awesome books of drawings and letters to me (from the 3/4s and the 2s) and the grade 1’s made me some funny “What did you learn about Mlle Morgan” sheets. Some kid thought that I had yellow eyes, bought toys on my spare time, am 14 years old and 1 inch tall. wee!
I did get that 2 month LTO stint in teeswater for core french so I start Monday (ack!)– i’m happy that I have continued pay, but I also wanted a bit of a break…
